Normally, you would see P1, then P2 on the back of P1, then P3 with a blank back (because it is a 3 page document), then you see P1 of the next copy on the 3rd sheet of paper, with P2 on the back of it, etc., but instead P1 of the second copy prints on the back of P3 from the first document, as if printing a single document.
